A large park near Dunoon, Hunters Quay Holiday Village is an ideal location from which to tour the picturesque Cowal Peninsula. Situated in beautifully landscaped parkland, it is ideal for either a short break or a longer holiday, with a wide range of activities to choose from. The on-site Dolphin Leisure Centre has two 25-metre swimming pools (one for children), sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym, children’s indoor play area, badminton, bars, and a restaurant with carry-out food. Entertainment is available all year round.

Sauchhope Links is situated along the seashore, to the north east of and within walking distance of the ancient and charming fishing village of Crail, with its steep, narrow streets, harbour and sandy beach. The park is south-facing and has panoramic views over the sea to the Isle of May and beyond. Sauchope is spacious and thoughtfully designed and offers privacy and tranquillity for those seeking a quiet retreat. At the same time it also provides plenty of activities on-site and near the park.

This award-winning, family-run park lies within 22 acres of woodland. Set in a quiet, secluded glen, surrounded by the scenic beauty of woodland gardens and the splendour of the Cowal hills. Perfect for walking, bird and wildlife watching. Our attention to detail has consistently earned top awards from the Scottish Tourist Board and the British Holiday Parks’ grading schemes and we were recognised as the top Caravan Park in Scotland for Customer Care in the 2005 Scottish Thistle Awards. Carradale Bay is on the east coast of the Mull of Kintyre, right on the beach, facing the Isle of Arran, adjacent to the fishing village of Carradale. The River Carra runs beside the park, the bay is safe for swimming and boating. Angling, golf, walking are all within minutes of the park, so you could hardly find a place more suited to an energetic, family, outdoor holiday. Campbeltown is famous as the ‘Wish You Were Whisky’ loch, while the Mull of Kintyre was the subject of Paul McCartney’s best-selling record.

There are other parks in the area, but only one Loch Lomond Holiday Park.
