Lodges and Caravans to Hire and to Buy
on Caravan Parks in Scotland

Scotland is the ideal destination for caravan holidays, whether touring with your own caravan or staying in a caravan holiday home. Thistle Holiday Parks have lodges, cabins and caravan holiday homes for hire and for sale. Some caravan parks have leisure facilities, a restaurant and a bar. Thistle Parks are of a 4- or 5-star standard and are among the best in Scotland.  If you want to try something new, then try glamping, small "huts", some of which are basic, whilst others are really luxurious!  The lodges and holiday homes for hire are owned by the parks and kept in tip-top condition.

September and October:  Planning a short break of a few days or longer?  Check out our Availabilty page to see the parks which have space for you!

Buying a Holiday Home: Many of our caravan parks have holiday homes and lodges for sale and this could be a good investment for the future.  If you are on holiday this autumn, talk with the park-owner to see what may be available for next year.    For information on caravans and lodges for sale   Willerby has a whole new rage of super holiday homes and lodges.  If you want to browse before you buy, visit the Caravan and Motorhome Show in the NEC near Birmingham from 17-22 October. Many, many caravans and motorhomes, holiday homes and lodges to see and to choose from.

When to come:  Autumn can be the best time of year to visit Scotland, when the roads are quieter, when you have time to linger and browse in the popular visitor attractions, and the trees start to change colour.
Check out our Availability page to see which parks have space for the school holidays.

Children Welcome:  Parks have safe play areas for kids and often a games room.  Many parks welcome pets; look for the dog symbol on the entries.
Which park is where? You can search alphabetically.  Or  search by area . Or by key criteria by using the Search by Recreation/Facility at the top of this page.  .

Accessibility: Some parks have lodges or caravans adapted for guests with a mobility impairment; this is shown by  Wheelchair Access.on their entry, which the parks add;  Thistle Holiday Parks do not check.  Parks may also show the D symbol to indicate accessible facilities on the park. However, we recommend that you speak with the park before you book, ask if they can send their access statement or can answer your questions..  Three parks which do have access statements are Mortonhall in Edinburgh, Tantallon in North Berwick, Belhaven in Dunbar, and Red Deer near Glasgow.  Plus Craig Tara in Ayr and Seton Sands on the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh.

Activities on our parks:  If you want to be active during your holiday, then check out the Thistle Parks which have activities on site. www.thistleparks.co.uk/selfcatering/activities.php
There is also information on the Forestry Commission Scotland's forests.

Hot tubs::  Some of our parks have lodges with hot tubs or luxurious spa facilties.  www.thistleparks.co.uk/selfcatering/lodges-with-hotutbs.php
