Mount View Caravan Park, in the village of Abington, is well situated for your holiday; we are just off the motorway south of Glasgow, 45 minutes from Dumfries, an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Make this the base for your holiday - or as a relaxing stop-off for a couple of nights on the way north or south. The Clyde Valley is a lovely, green part of Scotland, with the well-known village of New Lanark as one of its main attractions. Abington has a shop and a pub.
From our park you can tour to the Borders, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and even Loch Lomond.You can hop on a train from Lanark to Glasgow for a day in the big city, so no worries about parking.

This aptly named Seaward Caravan Park does, in fact, look seawards over the beautiful River Dee. The Park offers spectacular views over the estuary, looking out towards Ross Island Lighthouse and beyond to the Irish Sea. Glenearly Caravan Park sits in 100 acres of open countryside just one mile the small town of Dalbeattie, not far west of Dumfries in the south of Scotland. We welcome touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. We have seasonal pitches - ideal if you want to have your caravan not too far from home and have plenty to see and do in the area.
There is wildlife galore so you can relax and watch the birds and the red squirrels.
