Situated on the east coast 30 minutes from Edinburgh, there are a wealth of things to do and places to visit within easy reach of the park.
The beautiful East Lothian coastline is not to be missed, with lovely sandy beaches and championship golf courses. Dunbar. with its quaint harbour and castle is home to two quality golf courses, John Muir's Birthplace and Country Park and East Links Park.
Concorde at East Fortune Air Museum.
North Berwick Seabird Centre and Bass Rock are a pleasant drive away.
To the North Edinburgh and it's wealth of visitor attractions and shopping opportunities is a must. Falkirk, Stirling and the Trossachs make a pleasant day trip.
To the south and west are the Scottish Borders, Berwick upon Tweed and the beautiful Northumbrian heritage coastline with Melrose, Peebles, Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castle all within easy reach.

Thurston Manor is situated 4 miles south of Dunbar. We are well signposted from the main A1 Edinburgh to Newcastle road, on the right hand side if travelling south and to the left if north bound. You are now just half a mile from the park.
